Rapper Kanye West has been hospitalised and treated for stress days after cancelling his tour following a series of bizarre onstage rants. Kanye was visited at his trainer Harley Pasternak’s home by members of the LAPD following reports of a disturbance there on Monday afternoon, according to reports. Website TMZ reported the 39-year-old was handcuffed to a stretcher after his management convinced him to seek medical help. The site claimed he had gone to Mr Pasternak’s West Hollywood home earlier that day for help with sleep deprivation and was “acting erratically” when they decided to call in the police.

He was then treated as a medical emergency and taken to be treated for stress and exhaustion at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. It comes after a chaotic show on Saturday night, where Mr West walked off-stage following a long rant before cancelling the rest of his Saint Pablo tour. During his rambling monologue, the rapper took aim at Jay-Z and Beyonce after an apparent rift with the couple.

He told the Sacramento crowd: “Beyonce, I was hurt because I heard that you said you wouldn’t perform unless you won Video of the Year over me and Hotline Bling.
“In my opinion, now, don’t go trying to diss Beyonce she is great. Taylor Swift is great.

“We are all great people we are all equal but sometimes we be playing the politics too much and forgetting who we are just to win. F****** winning. F*** being cool.”
He went on: “Jay-Z call me brah you still ain’t called me. Jay-Z call me. Jay-Z I know you got killers please don’t send them at my head.
“Talk to me like a man.”
